Thanks Axe,a bit more playing with the form and and in the future i'll be making a couple more thanks Gary,i had to get Jeff to put them on for me thanks keith ,i was smiling on the inside
Re: Solo trip to Moonie
Rod, you did a good job on the recurve. At 56" n t n it should be a comfortable bow to carry through the scrub.
I quite like the longbow style riser and when shooting two different styles of bows having similar grip areas makes sense.
How much recurve did you put in the limbs?
Daryl.

Re: Solo trip to Moonie
Thanks Daryl,................wouldn't know, how would i measure that
Re: Solo trip to Moonie
Rod,
No need for measurements just a side on photo of the unbraced bow would be fine.
Daryl.

Well done on the stinka old fella!! You see many pigs out that way??? I have a few work mates that hunt that way often and always bag some good rough fellas and normally hard fighting fellas coming off the crop.
Challacombe St haha I remeber seeing that think the old fella lined us up as kids to get a photo in front it and im sure I got a photo with Steve and Sue Wallace on a way wood west trip once.
Hunting on you own bud?? You better give me a call next run so i can come dust the webs off the wheely bow!!
Good to see your cooking skills are still limited!
Cheers

Hi Rod,
Thank you for the photo of the bow.
I particularly like the way the limbs flow into the handle, well done.
Daryl.

I agree mate, I love this little bow, it shoots like a champion as well as looks good ! I mentioned to the wife about a new gringa bow on the wish list lucky I can catch or that coffee mug was in trouble

I guess ya took that as a NO then!!!Nutgrass wrote:I mentioned to the wife about a new gringa bow on the wish list lucky I can catch or that coffee mug was in trouble

Re: Solo trip to Moonie
I don't know about that Jeff. She never actually said "NO", so if I were Nutgrass I'd be encouraged to declare the issue still open to negotiation!
Lately, if life were treating me any better, I'd be suspicious of it's motives!

I agree, I think the catching of the mug signals an option for discussion at a later dateNephew wrote:I don't know about that Jeff. She never actually said "NO", so if I were Nutgrass I'd be encouraged to declare the issue still open to negotiation!
I just think my later & her later might be further apart than I realize
