lucky score
I was given these today by one of my customers who was a keen bowhunter many years ago.
48 x gamegetter 2020
24 x wood shafts
2 x shooting gloves
1 x fishing arrow
and a stack of broadheads.
I am interested to know what the 2 broadheads on the right are.

Re: lucky score
I forgot to mention that there is also a couple of shafts that feel and sound like carbons when tapped and touched. One of them has a slight split and it appears to made of something other than carbon or fibreglass?
Re: lucky score

Re: lucky score
Piggy,
Good lot of arras there mate.
There were shafts that were around in the eary eighties that were quite popular and they were made of a fibreglass type material and were called 'Graflex' not 100% on the spelling. They were a lightish brown in colour with darker caramel stripes on them, not sure if they came in other colours. The shafts you have maybe some of these.
As for the broadheads, I'm sure Mike-dy will be ablew to tell you what they are.

Re: lucky score
Those green guys look a lot like bear razors
The name "satellite" comes to mind. You turn two little steel rings till both gaps line up to get the blades off (and on). They are from the 80's.piggy wrote:Found this in the box also its got 6 x stainless steel blades any ideas on the names of these heads.

Re: lucky score
Stickbow that pretty much describes the shafts.
The green ones are not the bear razor as i also got some of those and they have the slice for the bleeder blades.
Thanks for identification Jindy those rings work exactly as you described.
The black broadhead on the far right is called a missile spike

Re: lucky score
The head on the left may be a 'Savora'. They look very similar to a pack I purchased some 25 years ago. From memory there was a little spring ring [similar to the key ring type] that locked the cutting blades into the rear of the ferule.
Second from the left is most likely an 'Ace Rocket'. When I first purchased these heads they were 50 cents each. In those days I could purchase the gear to make up 100 hunting arrows and get change out of $100.00.
Daryl.

Re: lucky score
The gold one looks like what i know as a 'satalite' , the ferrule screws into the centre of the body and there is a collor that locks over the ends of the replacable blades. Still have a few left over with new blades, sadly untested on any animals

Left to right -> Satellite, Davies Concorde (now Tuskers), Huntsman (Alan Strachan, Vic) and Missile Spike.
The six bladed head is a Wasp. All made in the 70's - 80's
Cheers,
Mike
