I have just finished making this knife . It is full tang and the design is based off a Leuku. I made it from a 5mm circular sawblade and heat treated to 59-60rc. After a bit of experimenting I reckon I've nailed the heat treat for a good balance of edge retention and toughness. The blade has been flat ground with a convex edge and the handle is Turpentine. It doesn't have a high level of collector knife finish because it's meant to be used. I would sell this knife for $65 if anyone were interested

I like the finish on the blade of that one. I think you better find yourself a saw for cutting that wood up though.
