This is a cross participation event.
If you are not a members of ABA, TAA, 3DAAA or AA you can pay $10 on the day to become a full member of TAA and be eligible to shoot at this type of shoot. :Bow :Bow

Peter, can you please explain the statement above. It could be interpreted as you can no longer be an independent archer to attend at all, as in No Card No Shoot.
I am just after clarification for those archers out there who are not members of any association whether that be due to location or personal preference.

thanks

Maybe this is an insurance issue. I would assume independant shooters would not have any insurance coverage. Just a thought.

Was wondering that - which is what prompted the question. I know it's an ABA club, anyhoo I am sure a response will give us the answers. :)

This is a condition of ABA . If a shooter is not a member of one of the associations of the alliance they will be given the option of paying a $10 membership to Traditional Archery Australia so they can shoot as we were told that ABA can not sanction open shoots . We would like to apologise for any inconvenience or misunderstanding .

Thank you Rod for supplying a top Bow again this year , it will make a great major prize in our raffle . Damn it is getting close now , the layout of the 3d coarse is done and everyone will be pleased they won't have to walk up the hill to start.

The grounds look great so come and try our new course.

How much better can it get.
So come and enjoy the relaxed and fun weekend and don't forget your Flu-flus with those rubber blunts.
