All systemns go, a bit of rain on the way. Weekend hopefully will be dry, not expecting any minus temp at night like last year. For those travelling take care, see you All soon. Cheers Roadie.

Well the shoot is over, the weather was not as cool as last year, had some rain and wind late saturday afternoon most of the archers had done the events, those that got wet were out on an other course just killing time and slinging arrows.
Numbers were down from last year, but we had visitors from Toowoomba, Hunter valley, sunshine coast, a large number of Archers from Albury/ Wodonga , plus some Melbourne folks, Broken Hill ,and Sth Aussies. Plus the Dunnolly Archers Now we are getting ready for Swan Hill Trad shoot next weekend.
Just a reminder that Broken Hill, and Mildura Trad shoots will be held again the same time next year 2017. So you have been given 12 months notice to make the neccessary arrangements. Cheers Roadie.

Re: Mallee Sunset Trad Shoot 3/4 Sept 2016
I attended the Mallee Sunset Trad Shoot this year the weekend following the Bega Asiatic Shoot. This was my second time at Mallee Sunset and thank heavens it wasn't as cold as last year.
Roadie and the team at Mildura put on another great shoot this year with lots of interesting targets in great settings. The normal run of 3D targets mixed in with two speed rounds (30 and 60 second), popinjay, clout, moving target, rolling discs, wand shoot and lots of others. All topped off with great food, friendly people, lots of laughs and a few red wines and scotch whiskeys.
There was also a lot of laughs had around the campfire as well as some spectacular food courtesy of the Aulbury Wodonga Team who cooked up a storm of venison and one Howard O'Connell who is a master with a camp oven. Thanks for a really great night guys!
This is another Trad Shoot that should be on everyone's "must attend" list for next year.
