Man o man, taking game with a self made bow! Does it get any better? Congrats mate, well done.
Lately, if life were treating me any better, I'd be suspicious of it's motives!

Fast flight string, calf hair arrow rest and whisker silencers. Should have another up soon just waiting for a couple of orders, Thanks for looking Sean.

Cheers guys, I'm a big kid when it comes to Christmas Jeff, so he has already had a little fun with it. He watched me working on it for a couple of days and was just dad making another bow, until it was put in his hand and he could see what it was for, as soon as the arrow had left the string the smile grew and he was chasing it to knock it up for his second shot. You could say I was a little proud.

Cheers guys, yep Bob never too early for the kids if they're keen I reckon, here is another bow and skinner combo I wanted to share with you all which is bound for Tassie, just finished the knife yesterday, while the redgum was a little hard to work with I think the results are well worth it. Its a 64" flat laid hill style longbow, timbers used are redgum riser and knife scales with Tassie myrtle limbs with sambar antler on red G10 overlays. Shoots great, very quiet, fast and easy to shoot.
Running a fast flight Flemish twist string and whisker silencers. Cheers Sean.

That red gum bow has a lot of appeal, very organic.... I really like the kid's bow too, I am trying to put together one myself for a hunting mates young bloke. It is daunting the first time but also a good learning tool for a newbie like me.

Cheers.... Rod
