Long story Tony and off this topic :lol
But yes we did manage to loose the kids for few days and "sit still" in the Majesty of Cradle mountain. but otherwise it was a fine balance from "doing stuff" to keep them amused and flaggin out in a chair from too much.
Amazing place you just get sucked in to trying to see everything heh Jeff.

Mate just checked the RFS website annd there is/was a fire at Webbs Creek Wisemans way which ha sburnt 100 odd hectares of bush but it says it is controlled.
There are 2 in the bush area near old northern rd but small and controlled.
As I said above I will call the RFS tomorrow and try to get a definitive position and status.
The site is
http://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/dsp_content.cfm?cat_id=683
If you are heading Rob's way tomorrow and wednesday you will be there before THURSDAY WHICH IS APPARENTLY THE WORST DAY according to the weather forecasters.
I plan to head to Rob's Thursday AM and get there around lunch time give or take.
Cheers
Ian
