Re: Bamboo
Dan,
I can't say for sure but that first link may not be real vertical bamboo flooring as it mentions something about a cross middle layer???? The second link looked like the right stuff.

Re: Bamboo
I notice the third company you linked to actually offer free samples of their products, might be worth looking into.

Re: Bamboo
That's where a lot of fellas were getting their vertical bamboo boards from. What threw me a bit was this statement:bigbob wrote:Duh its where I get mine too!
I this the same stuff that we have always got before? The stability of Vertical bamboo floor boards are greatly enhanced by the opposing direction of the middle layer, commonly known as crossbonding.

Re: Bamboo
no I get the vertical of coarse I usually go down and pick it up ,last time I got a box it was $150..............even Clarky gets his from there
Re: Bamboo
Shouldn't mention this until i can get up there for another box or two but Durn told me last time I was there some months ago that the last pallet he got in for a cancelled order was it, as the supplier was not making vertical boards any more; only strand woven ones which are useless for our purpose. Guess I'll just have to scuttle back up there quick now before its all gone!!!
