Hi all, im new to the site. Im a pom visiting your fine country. Been living and working in Kununurra at the top end of wa. Just wanted to know what is legal to bowhunt here? Are there minimum poundages etc.

Welcome to oz bow. the legalities very from state to state, don't go into any NPs, If it's Feral it's legal if it's native it's not' ues what every poundage you like good arrow placement counts. cheers Yowie.

Thanks mate, now just have to wait for replaicement limbs to arrive. Ive been practicing for a couple years now with hunting tackle at close range. Cant bowhunt back home, finally feel confident of a quick clean kill, finally am in a place ican hunt and me bow goes kapoot. Sods law i guess.

As has been said you can hunt feral animals where you are so long as they are on private land that you have permission to hunt on. All the best with it and I hope you get new limbs for your bow very soon. Post up some photos when you get out and about with your bow.
