just a little addition to the shoot post - the shoot is 3DAAA - all archers are welcome, members and non-members of anything......if you're not a 3DAAA member you pay a bit extra for insurance.

Hey Erron, I'm blonde, it crashed out - woops -so I'll send you my propa one...

and Butch I forgot to mention when we was doin that speakin' thing yesterdee, that the Speights will probably be there toooooo.
Got the message back from greybeard - the grapevine works well.
seeya there, I'll be the one with bells on :P .

Sue, tried to email for info but got undeliverable message??? Do we have to nominate or just turn up, and how much for non 3DAAA? must be something wrong with my mail server. Some work, others dont? I tried to send you one about the muster weeks ago and it didn't work either.
Thanks
David

don't you just hate modern technology sometimes.....

Nocky have sent you an email address to contact me on and also Daryls phone number for the North Albert shoot.

If anyone else would like a contact phone number for Daryl - please send me an email thru this site and I'll send it to you.

This is almost like a convert operation ...... :P

What a great weekend. First time I've been to North Albert, but won't be the last, I hope. Beaut course and good company........ gots to be makin' me a set of flu flu's for next time, though, me thinks. I had a quick search for posts on making flu flu's but there doesn't seem to be one on here. There was a variety of 3,4 or more fletch types plus some spiral types which I was told ( and it seemed to be the case ) pulled up quicker than the other types. Probably should have started a new thread but if any one has ideas or opinions on the different types, or a link to another site with info, I'd like to hear.
Cheers

I would have liked to make it this year but the timing is bad for anyone addicted to Reds. Spent 6 days camped up on a farm in the Mary with the family instead.
I will make it to that shoot again one of these years though for sure.

Mark K.

By the way - I like the spiral fletched flu flu's. No high-tec reason, I just find them easier to make.

Thanks for the report Nocky, sure sounds like a good time! :)

Feel free to start a flu-flu thread in the Trad campfire, maybe. We haven'y had one on flu-flus that I recall?
