We will have to get the old crew together on the Corrival mate, let me know when your back in town and I'll come and give you a hand at every opportunity. Would be good to work together again on the Corrival even though I'm not a member of Caboolture

Just checked my 3D calender, the Corrival's listed as the for the 14th and 15th of August

Good luck to you and Gail in the mean time on your trip, stay safe

Hey Gazz, hows the Gypsie life treating you? Will be looking forward to hooking up with you and the crew again.I will try and steer clear of Sir Portalot as he leads young lads astray and old buggers more so.

Fair Go Shrek, Lord of Boobdom, one teeny tiny indiscretion :?: :?  :(

I've refilled the Port Barrel and have been aging it since last Corrival, your names all over it again mate, guess I'll just have to twist your arm again as I maintain mastery of the Micro fire

Grunter Hunter last time I spoke to Gary a couple of weeks ago he assured me he is coming back from his trek in late July to prepare the courses for the Corrival for the 3d sanctioned weekend of 14th and 15th of August. A member of the committee was part of the same conversation at the time and plans are in place

I will email Gary as I have a disk of previous years Corrival flyers and I'm quite happy for him to send me the details and I'll edit my disk or I'll just email him the disk. I'm not a member of Caboolture anymore but would hope a flyer would be posted in the next few weeks. The shoots about 7 weeks away.

Shrek, look forward to catching up again

hi there every body, things are starting to happen around the grounds, tricky little shots are popping up all over the place   .we have a new trophy to compete for this year its called the Carbon Cup this is for all you trad shooters with ally or carbon arrows. Perry Jackson has hand crafted the trophy and very kindly donated it to the club ,this is a perpetual trophy with the winners name engraved on it. this is a open competition all trad bows and genders together, people competing for the Carbon Cup will not be eligible in any other divisions at the Corrival .hope this doesnt confuse anyone, any problems send me a message, gaz. :D

Hey Little Arrows, how many days till the Corrival

regards Perry

PS - missed you and big arrows over the weekend at Lakeside, looked and looked all weekend and could not find you. I had some new speed crested arrows for show and tell

Hey Perry,

yes well - we were going to Lakeside until Steve's back decided to go out without him - he was having a bit of trouble getting around - so caution prevailed, never mind there is alway next year. He will be right for Caboolture, and right now he is wondering why I am laughing at the computer, so I told him to look forward to some of your new and improved speed cresting at the Corrival which is now only 26 sleeps away.

cheers

Just to reiterate on the Carbon Cup.

I've made a very nice Perpetual Trophy using a slice of Burl so that Trad Bow shooters that shoot carbon or alloy arrows can come along and enjoy the spirit of competition and companionship of other folks. You are not eligible to shoot in other divisions but your most welcome to come along. The Carbon Cup is a Perpetual Trophy so it will stay at the club with your name engraved on a plate. I will be offering one of my handmade leather Armguards for the highest score in the Carbon Cup as a keepsake.
