Dark Age Historical display at Wiseman's Ferry TAG

#1 Post by Sarah » Tue Oct 13, 2009 7:42 pm

The Dark Age re-enactment club Ancient Arts Fellowship will be putting on a display at the Traditional Archery Get-Together on Sunday afternoon before the presentations.

We’ll be demonstrating our arms and armour, crafts and costume as well as explaining a little about what we do and why. There’ll be plenty of opportunity to have a closer look and even try some armour on if you’re interested.

Hope to see you there.

Sure! How fast do you run? Seriously re-enactors hate Robin Hood jokes worse than Trad archers. The bonus is though we're usually armed...

Sarah, I hope you can come back with some pictures of todays events.
It's just a little bit to far from my place to Wiseman's Ferry.
Hope it was a great day.
I along with many others love the traditional.

The demo by Sarah and her folk was excellent.
They obviously practice long and hard and take great pride in their activity.
