Perth Shoot!
Hi all!
Now that were slowly moving towards summer, I think its time for another get-together!!
I'll be finished all my exams by the end of October and then I'm all done with school so anytime after then should work out. I'm not sure how many perthians are active readers on here but I'll see how it goes.
So who's interested?
Ben

No one? Really?!
Ok, then. You guys dont know what youre missing out on. An opportunity to come and shoot with me for the day is usually not something you want to miss...

Ah, C'mon Rod! Your not THAT far away. You could easily make it over here... after three days driving... with no sleep... and no time to stop for a shoot on the way ... ok, maybe you are a bit far away...

only three days with no sleep .................Rod
Re: Perth Shoot!
Me and my brother in law might be able to come again, depending on when. December is kind of ridiculous and totally lacking free weekend time Perhaps January?
Are you thinking Hoddywell again? We definitely need to do the advanced trail this time....

Re: Perth Shoot!
Is it okay if we move Hoddywell to Sunday August 8th? I've just reviewed my calendar for the next 12 weeks and I'm trying to get a bit more time at home with my family

Re: Perth Shoot!
Shall we aim to meet up around 9:45am, and start shooting before 10:30am?
Re: Perth Shoot!
Well young Ben's decided to be a goose and hurt his bow hand so he won't be coming on Sunday the 8th, but my brother in law and I will still be there, unless it's raining.
We're aiming to get to Hoddywell just before 10am, and tackle the Advanced trail.
We'll aim to go again in roughly 12 weeks, once Ben's hand has healed. Mind you, my second child will be born around end of October so I can't say how much free time I'll have then

Re: Perth Shoot!
My brother in law and I had a good time at Hoddywell, although using my 45lb longbow showed how out of shape I am!
My sister came along for her first ever shoot and she picked it up really quickly. She probably got more kill shots than we did Yeah we were further back and she was closer, but sitll, a damn fine first effort.
She enjoyed it so much she now wants me to make her a bow!
Hopefully we can go again before Christmas once Ben's hand is better.

G'Day Kev!
My hand is healing up really well. I am able to make a full fist comfortably now and the scar has healed over quite nicely I have started shooting again, just with a little 18lb fibreglass bow but before you know it I'll be back into it full time and we can organise another Hoddywell day! (I have a new toy to show off) I would say give it about three more weeks and I'll be right.
I'm glad to hear you guys still had a good time anyway and thats good that your sister is getting involved! The more the merrier
Cheers,
Ben
