What a fantastic tourney. No idea why all the stories about frosted tents and what not that had preceded this event. Certainly nothing but fabulous weather, friendship and challenging archery.
AND amazingy food supplies by the fantastic ladies in the kitchen.!!!

For those who missed make sure you are there next year.

WHY
you may well ask that question and the only way to answer such would have been to be there.

A small taste of the events below.

Once again many many thanks for a great weekend.

outstanding weekend once again, numbers were down considerably which was unfortunate, but the crew at Dunolly put on a great weekend as usual, with true country hospitality (a big thank you to the ladies in the kitchen who fed us soooo well) and some new events to test us all, namely a 8m viking ship for us to shoot at! It was quite a sight to see a longship smack bang in the middle of the footy oval in country Victoria! Paper animal round, popinjay, running boar was great and a one arrow animal round the day after the night before was... challenging....

thank you again Dunolly I had a ball!

How can a bloke shot well when his pitted with two vanilla breath dire hards. Thanks to Stringstik and his home brew whiskey with added Vanilla. I had to put up with Gav and Nev breath this morning. How two guys can shoot so well and be under the weather has got me beat.
Last nights entertainment was fire twirling by Rowena that was amazing.Stay tuned for her next appearance brilliant. Followed by how to remove your eyebrows, arm hair and half of your moustache. Nev the human fireball.

Thanks Everyone for the comments, glad you all enjoyed yourselves and the weather wasn't to bad this year! I need to get in touch with Steve Lyons. I have something for him, email dunnhc@bigpond thanks Steve!
As soon as we can we'll let you know the date of next years shoot.
I can't seem to get my head around anything at the moment, and as soon as I sit down I want to go to sleep. I wonder why!
Thanks again for a great weekend It wouldn't happen if you all didn't support us!
Oh and the photo bit, I agree, a warning would be good!

Thanks to the Dunolly crowd for putting on another good one! For such a small club they really do a great weekend :) I had a brilliant time.. The viking ship definitely was a sight to see, next year I'm bringing the fire arrows I don't care what you say Andy  Row's fire dance was absolutely awesome.. Nev did do an equally spectacular version and how he managed to do a full forward somersault without spilling a drop of petrol I will never know  And big thanks to those who took the time to turn up and make it a great weekend..
Cheers,
Matt
