Just wondering if they will be having a separate section for traditional recurve or will they be in with the traditional longbows?

some pic's from the muster,

we had a fantastic time catching up with old mates and makeing new mates...

the Gladstone Club sure knows how to turn on a well run smooth flowing event, and work togeather like a well oiled machine, very impressive.

as usuall the course had its usuall array of hard targets ( ther hard if you cannot shooot like me... hehehe )

the E.C.T.B was well represented by 7 of us with all shooting well except me again , hehehehe

i supose the hi-lite for me was my lad "Spiker", shootin well enough to take out some good wins

Cub overall - Cub Longbow - second Cub Axe and, takeing on and Winning the Steel Pig

Beating all entrants young and old in shoot on saturday night, this included his idols Jonny Longbow and Cashey

a proud moment indeed, his instincitve shooting style is something i wish i had i know that, the little bugger... hehehe

other placeings form E.C.T.B where the power house from the west "Ferdy" placeing second in Mens Longbow, he only shoot his light 80# Border Bow and shoot exceptionaly well to place behing Jonny Longbow.

Dave Keable placeing sixth in mens Recurve against some seriously awsome shooters :!:

LB Rod and Keithyboy shoot exceptionaly well and just out of the placeings from memory,

Richie Redeagle vowed never to shoot the longbow again and is sticking with his curve after being hammered by a lass form out the back hills of tairo that had been shooting 3 days :!: :!:

i'm sure glad i was not ther to be destroyed by her either. hehehehe, i wanted to catch up with that couple as her partner made a lovely Longbow and i would have lied to have had a better look at the sticks.

was good to catch up with and meet Forro,Dan and his wife (bec? sorry ) - Outback Dad and his lad as well, good fellas. :D

anyway on with a few pic's of the weekend- i will post more as thay are e-mailed to me from Fran, as she is our offical events recorder ( picture taker  )

Ferdy also will never get lost in the dark again winning 5 tourch's out of six prise's he picked up in the draw, not bad going seeing he only bought 10 tickets !! hahahahaha

the first couple pic's are "the peeper" and "spiker"
Kind Regards, Bretto

Thanks again to everyone who came and supported our shoot. We as a club hope that everyone who did attend enjoyed themselves.Well done to some of the ladies who were a bit nervous of heights, but took on the 4.1m tree stand anyway(Even though there was a fair bit of sqeaking and squealing) The Flu Flu event seemed to go OK so we'll be seeing that on the next Muster. Hopefully I'll get the placings up shortly. Here's a couple of pic's from our round on Sat. morning. We hope to see you all again next year

:D
the first picture below is Glady club stallwart, and a very old friend of mine from back in the day Paul Hardy.

Paul and Roz had assembled some awsome photos of the history of the galdstone club and muster history as well.
ther was even a pic of me back in 1984 in ther as well :!:

im still as good looking....

ther was photo copys of the muster reports going way back, and Geoff you really where that young mate! hehehe

even found in the 1991 Muster report in Archery Action and parragreph dedicated to the enternaiment that year where i got up on stage for a couple sets and blew some tunes with the session band thay had playing

Hi again big Brett. Flick me your Email address and what photo's from the presentation your chasing, and I'll mail them through. As to the trad shoot, we try to shoot 3D targets at least every other month, I'll let you know when our next one is coming up as early as I can and you can see if your crew can make it. The Bundy Boys (And ladies) are always welcome up here in Gladstone.
