So I guess that rules out hitting scoring clipboards with whistlers then, hey Len.
If I do it again do I get a piece of cake!!

Mossvale Park should look magnificant in mid April. For those people who haven't been there before, it's a picturesque park, planted out in one hundred year old plus, European trees. It's going to look incredible in its autumn colours. It will be a photographers delight!
It's sure to be a great shoot, that will be shared with a friendly bunch of people, at a location that couldn't be better.
Mick
There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

hey Len
forgot to ask!
is the Crecy shoot a style of Clout (that is, on the ground) or a target (that is, standing up. say a 122 cm. target)?
Hue
and we will have coffee, won't we?

Hue, the Crecy is a long range target shoot based around 122cm targets standing up but shot similar to clout and yes, I'm working on the coffee. Anthony bought a generator when the power shortages were on and Morgan has sourced an urn ( I think! ) so we should be able to supply free coffee and tea all day
Stringstick, whats the odds of you doing that again with the whistler ?

sounds awesome Len.
Look forward to it.
watchout for Southern Fox though, at distances like that, he likes to "bend the rules" a bit:)

Hue if you wanna shoot your big bow fine by me, just don't use bodkin tipped arrows on our 3D targets
Actually I've found that if you short draw them, say only to the corner of the mouth/chin etc, they can be shot very accurately but by doing that are we being true to the style of bow ? horses for courses I guess.

Len, Len, Len!
at the end of the day, when it's all said and done and all the other cliches
the warbow is an ELB, yes! and i'm having fun shooting it as a warbow and a longbow and it is surprisingly accurate and of course i'm not going to shoot the bodkins into the 3D targets. i have woods for my warbow!
Timbow, who do you think it is? WhiteH............ or are you getting old?
there will be cake TonyJ

Good onya Mark, looking forward to catching up with you and your gang. No 14thC. gear required but I would advise decent footwear as there is a fair bit of long grass, nettles and thistles etc on the 3d course
