Whos going to the LB100? What are you shooting?

#1 Post by gundy » Thu Jan 15, 2009 6:53 pm

Ill be there; But for the Saturday night only.

At this stage I will take a 'D' shaped longbow and also a D/R longbow (no doubt recurve division). Probably will settle on the D for the shoot.

Youll know me as I will be the one 'NOT' wearing a pink rose...

It's always a hard question, the question of which bow to take to a shoot. I'm leaning towards taking my 53# Whip at the moment because I've been shooting it a lot lately. I do tend to shoot better with my 51# Mohawk though. Decisions decisions. :D

My son will shoot his 45# Internature Viper longbow with POC arrows and my daughter will be using a 40# Ben Pearson recurve, also with POC arrows.

There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

I'll be there shooting my "frankenbow" 8) ... Bernardini Cobra ILF riser, carbon limbs 50#. Yes, I am a bit confused! Depending on my mood and/or severity of hangover, I may switch to my 65# bamboo back/belly static recurve at some stage :D

The old Scrub Bull will be there. You know if the Scrub Bull is going to be there its going to raining so pack your wet weather gear. What am I shooting? What ever they let me on the plane with, most likely my Tomahawk Bow T/D Diamond SS Longbow and Sitka Spruce arrows.

Scrub Bull will take orders to bring down but there is only so much I can get into my bag.
Send in you order early and we will see what we can do. My bag already has a cat in as a prize.

Hue
Let just put you in the "Different or Difficult Class"

I was up at the club yesterday for a working bee, I tell you what the Lilydale members have really gone all out to have a great set up. They really should be pleased with the way it looks, I'm biased because i shoot there but it is a credit to all involved.

Howdy Hue....the pony club grounds are next door to Lilydale Bowmen. We could organise a couple of Brumbies if you and Nev are keen on a bit of Mongolian Horse Archery.
