I'll be there from Thursday night. I am camping there for the four days and will be eager to meet some of the oz-bow gents.
I would also like to let people know that I will have plastics wraps for sale at my cost price of $2.00 for three wraps. I would like to get some feedback on how they go on your wooden arrows. My initial tests show that they stick very well and take both fletching tapes and glues really well. They come in red white and blue and I also have made small tapes for the tips of the fletching instead of binding. 50c from each sale will be donated to Lilydale bowmen to help in some way to pay for further shoots.

Hue, that was a cracker  as a married man for nearly 20 years I know what you mean. I think Gav will bring his warbow and I'll be bringing my new warbow for yew to have a look at, its been my Christmass project and is a bit special.

tee hee speaking of married life my better half was perusing the posts and noted "they have an Elk 3d target!,, I cant miss that at least" I respectfully kept my mouth shut. If I sneak someone an arrow of hers, can we "make it so" :lol

BTW Im hoping to calm Hue down with a wee dram of my latest brew. I may hence call it Black Griffin Scotch(If Im allowed). Id began its life after my last visit to Gav's,after noting similar bottled nectar on his sideboard. It was to be a thanks for his help. Of course now that I have mention it, ill probably stuff up the bottling process and be the laugh of the w/e. tis ok Gav, there was no hope of taking this stuff home anyway, it has a 3 day warranty and must be drunk in company!!

sound good Mark, I presume it is best served with a heathy dose of Kareoke right?

Mind you last shoot there was Griffins Brew floating around I shot rather poorly on the sunday..... which was actually no different than the saturday but at least I had an excuse!

Hue yes I'll throw the Warbow in and that will make 3 of them at the event, people can come have a look and a feel and see why they are the top fuellers of traditional archery..... I believe Len now has added nitro to his top fueller....

If there is enough space we might even get them on the track for the quarter mile.

well Mark, that's better. pushed the right button there!
as for your other half's arrow well, it better taste good (read that to mean the alcohol content had better be up there) otherwise that arrow could end up on some elses' target :)
Len, i can't wait to see what you've done with that piece of yew, should be great!

Thanks hardgainer. Yes I will be shooting the bear. Tried a new bow (Samick Lightning recurve) but I felt like I was betraying the old girl so I dragged out from under the bed, had a little reunion and all is well.
