Looks like the Trads are going to be there in good numbers. Maybe it will be truely Longbow 100.
Please make sure you register by contacting the club.
It will be good to catch with a fair few old faces. Lets hope the weather is good because the company certainly will be. With all the Trads coming the forest should be awash with laughter and good companionship. It will be like the merry men and women of The Basin forest.
See you there

Tony J....Rumour has it Graham (String Jigs) will be unvailing a new Blackwood longbow and Richard (Pinot man) has a LB newy on the way From the Mark E stable. Should be some interesting gear on show for this outing. Wonder which Bow Cody will rock up with for this one :?:

No laughing at my shooting!

Laugh all you want at Crows, hes crap and he knows it... :D

PS - Has the Trad format been finalised? Distances etc and so on? Will the TRad guys be mixed with wheelies?

Guy, mate I think it's an ozbow tradition that you are to heckle and take the **** out of your fellow shooters, at least that's what I've been led to believe! It will be good to see Phill there, and look forward to finally meeting you too..
Gary, do you have any "water hazards" planned for any of these targets? You'd make a fortune selling second hand arrows after this lot come through

Gundy
Trad and wheelies together not likely, no we disturb them as we cheer and laugh our way through the forest. You will note Hardgainers message about Richard with his new Longbow well Richard is a wheelie that has discovered two good things in life. one he makes a good wine
secondly he has discovered we have more fun missing the shots
It should be a good shoot.
Look forward to meeking you there.
Cheers TonyJ

To the Lillydane Bowmen,

I have tried many times to open the flyer attached to the second post on page one but so far I have been unsucessful,, Could any one give me some directions as to where to find your range, I would love to attend this shoot if I can find it.. May be a mud map and melway ref.. If I can get those I will no doubt be there for the three day weekend.

Hi Rod
It is Pavitt Lane The Basin. It is an unsealed Rd (drive to the end of it and go through the gate) that comes off Liverpool Rd , Liverpool rd section you need is between Canterbury Rd and Mountain Hwy. Canterbury Rd has an exit off Eastlink, Hope that helps.
See you there

Hot Off The Press
Just had a phone call from another member of Lilydale Bowmens with a great offer.
Here is the offer, a prize on the weekend will be a stave of osage.
So the budding bowmakers come on down. How this will be won is yet to be determined?
But I can hear some jockeying going on.
Don't forget to register, there are camping facilities and it isn't far from motels if you want a bit of comfort. Looking forward to catching up with as many of you as possible.
Cheers

If you only wana shoot for one day just turn up ..... however if you are shooting for three days it would be great if you do register as you will pay less than on the three dyas and you get a free comemerative badge ...... but that is for a three day entry..

GPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and you question motels????
I survived Dunolly. It took me two hours to unfreeze my tent.
Us trad guys don't use GPS isn't it moss on the south side of the tree type stuff. But Nev I understand you need it in your country. I'll show you what a tree looks like when you arrive.

Len come for the day if you can't make the weekend it will be good to see you

That's a nice looking tree Nev, but who's the ugly bugger standing in front of it? Have a great time you lot, I envy you but I am a bit tied up that weekend, as the actress said to the bishop!
