The good poeple at Twin city Archers in Morewell Victoria have kindy agreed to host this years biggest Victorian shoot, The Great Southern Traditional Archery Tournament 2008.

Anyone who attended last years knows this club (who have hosted several AA National titles) really know who to put on a good tournament.... and the split roast feed was to die for!

The weather has also been good to us and should continue on, so we should not see a rerun of last years light mist (lol)

This event is fast approaching so if anyone is thinking of coming to the biggest event south of the boarder then please get your entries in. It aids the organisers greatly to know how many people they are catering for.

If you don't come for anything else come for the feed... juicy spit roast meats and tressle tables a 100 people long, a feast not to be missed all in one of the best archery facilites in the country...

Help us finish the southern series of trad tournaments with a bang, and catch up with all your friends from across the country.

come on you know you want to!

This is always a fantastic event ( and the dinner is first rate ) and I would urge all archers to support it. If large events like this don't get supported then clubs soon wont go to all the effort of hosting them.

Just a quick reminder that the time is nearly here, please get in any entries, looking forward to the shoot.
see you all in a fortnight. The venue is bigger and better than last year, and we would like this event to be bigger and better. The more that come the more we can do for next years shoot. Timbow will be there. Also we have a lot of our own club members interested and would love to get a bigger turnout than last year.
Most importantly the traditional feast will be bigger and better.

Tony

Last year when I was there, the camping was on a nice green lawned area. There were a few small trees here and there too. There's toilets nearby and there's hot showers in the clubhouse.

I believe you can set up on Friday night, I did that myself last year and I also intend to do the same this year.

You won't have to worry about bringing any food, as everything is supplied in much the same manner as the Dunolly shoot.

You won't believe the facilities when you see them. They're impressive to say the least.

Last year we were flooded out, but it was still a great shoot. If the weather is only slightly better this time, it will be a fantastic shoot. 8)

Gav and I will arrive before dark on Friday night. It's going to be great catching up with you and the gang again.

Mick
There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.
