Great day people! Big thank you to Rhys, Steve, Di, Derrick,Dean, Tristan,Marty, Leigh and Gav for setting up (sorry if i forgot anyone) Special thank you to Len who was really struggling on the day being unwell but helped set up/pack up and did a good deal of the organising and preperations for the event.
Paul and Damo did a great job of entertaining at lunch time with the longsword display.
Well done to all the Archers of the day, i hope everyone had a great time and we appreciate everyone who put in the km's to come.
Will get len to post results at some stage.

I have put some photo's up in the LMS gallery (www.lms.asn.au) under morgan.

Cheers everyone :D

Thanks to all involved it was a great day. Morgan it was great to meet you thanks to you and Len etc for all the work put in.
For those that missed out what a lovely location and a friendly mob these Leongatha group are. As a new comer to such an event I really enjoyed myself. I must say winning the Wand event top off the day for me.
Many thanks Tony

What a great day ! Thankyou to all who made the drive down to Leongatha and helped to make it a fun day. We had 37 archers on the line and a further 9 kids in the under 12 event. Five stout hearted archers went in the warbow comp and I think warbow shooting is really going to take off. We still have a lot to learn and a lot more practice to do as we get into the bigger bows but we have made a great start :D

Yes indeed, you've done a fantastic job there Morgan. 8)

Even though it took ages to download on my dial-up internet access, it was worth it.

I was devastated when I couldn't attend this shoot due to being sick, but your excellent video isn't a bad consolation prize.

good video Morgan, the music you picked matched it perfectly.
Perhaps your next tournament we could have some one playing a trumpet to herald the start of the event!or some music to the equivilent.

Tim.

Thanks for the praise guys, lets just say youtube doesn't do it justace, on full DVD the picture is soho much better and the sound of the bows/arrows ( the noise of the war arrows is pretty cool!) is great. It was all done pretty quick ( trying to film and shoot is a nightmare and editing took about 20mins) but i'd love to get a couple of the pro camera's anthony i use to film weddings/footy grandfinals etc, maybe a few wireless mic's and do a real humdinger and show what we can really do :D

Morgan...UTube just great....My kids O/S just loved it. The Battle Clout could prove to be a the front runner of a great Trad clip. I have a good feeling this tourney on the 18th will be really worth the film. I pulled a couple of pics from the LMS shoot thanks for the OK.
