Tenth Australian Longbow & Recurve Muster

Stickbender asked me to post this up for him.

The Muster will be held on the 7th, 8th and 9th of June 2008 at Lake Awoonga Gladstone Queensland. It will be hosted by the Gladstone Bowhunters.

This year they are also hosting the Trophy Takers Annual Presentation night during the Muster and this is the first awards held in QLD since 1997 so they are looking at large numbers this year.

If any wishes to stay after the weekend stickbender is taking the week off after the muster so he will have his boat out at the dam so if anyone wishes to have a go at a barra bring your fishing gear.

last year was my first muster it was it was great ,i go to 5 or 6 A.B.A shoots a year. but traditional shoots are different the people seem more relaxed and easy going i will be going for shore hopefully with a long bow i made myself........Rod

Am rather bothered and a tad homesick that I'll be missing this shoot over the long weekend. Please post up all pics from the weekend so us far of fellas can have a good looksee.

Seems like it was a good shoot Paul - Congrats on 10 years. I might get to make it next year.

yes it was a great shoot , even got to meet a couple of ozbow members in person

def one of the best shoots ive been to,met many new and old faces.

first time ive shot my recurve and longbow on a range,had a great time with the running targets and the courses.

a lot of work went into this shoot,so a big thankyou to the gladstone club,ill look forward in returning in 09..
