November is officially TRAD month in Vic!
At the risk of ending your marriage, kiss your wives and kids goodbye on the 1st of Nov and tell em you'll see em in a months time!
Never let it be said there isn't any trad shoots in VIC, not any more!
check it out:
November 3 and 4: Great Southern Trad tournament, Morwell
November 17 and 18: Yarra Valley Archery park trad shoot
November 24 and 25: Ballarat Bowhunters shoot, Ballarat
I foresee some sore fingers by the end of the month, what a way to end a great year for trad archery. I'm excited!

Yep, it's gunner be a great month alright!!!
Unfortunately, I'm going to have to miss one shoot, the Yarra Valley one. The missus has already organised something else for that weekend.
But hey, there's still those other two.

There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.
no risk to marriage.....just take the hubby & kids with you to all these shoots. what better bonding & quality time can a family have? does anyone have a lear jet to get us to hunter valley in sept then tully & caboolture in october as well? village fletcher & bowyer and assorted wenches & lads may choose to join us.
Each day is a gift. Enjoy the Present.
I'm starting my arrow factory already... have begun splicing? my flu flu feathers to be 6 of 3 yellow and one red feather with a touch of yellow and 6 of 3 red and one yellow with a touch of red... and then another set of good arrows with slightly more creative cresting than the last lot that will hopefully last me through November... (I only have 10 left from my Dunolly batch, darn that forked tree that we had to shoot through on the field course!)
(unfortunately having a short draw ad 5/16 shafts means they suffer from wear and tear a bit more than thicker shafts)
But I'm excited! Break out the camping gear, November here we come!

I'll be there putting out the challenge for the kings round... see if I can go one better than in Hawthorne. As for the Clout, I'll just keep quiet as the only time I've ever shot like that is the wand at Dunolly which was a fluke so you guy's can battle that out between yourselves.
Looking forward to seeing you all.
