Cooroy Fun Shoot
Here are some photos from a small shoot we have on the May long weekend in Qld. As it is held on a small farm, numbers are limited to about 40 shooters. This is an invitation only event, so sorry to those that missed out this year, better luck next time. We are thinking about running another one later in the year so more people get to enjoy our backyard.
Thanks to everyone that helped out on the weekend.

Great photos. This is the way to cover events - lots of potos.

Great photos mate. I enjoyed looking at them. You had some unusual targets there as well as some unusual shooting positions. It looks like everyone had a ball.
I noticed a few targets with corregated iron behind them. Do arrows that miss the target and hit this corregated iron get badly damaged fletching?

There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

The iron works well at stopping the arrows with out to much damage. It just marks the the wood of your arrow if your bow is under 55#. We had the odd 70# bow was going right though and taking off the fletching. We hope to work on removing or softening the iron for the next shoot.
The unusual targets are made by me, I'm still testing them hope to be selling them soon, watch this space.
