Hi all

Well it's 12 weeks to the Gathering, not that i'm counting, but I'm just letting you all know that.

I have also sent out invitations to all those who are in my address book
(and it's a big one).

If there is anyone wishing to attend you can let me know via this web site or just turn up at the Gathering. The invitations are only for numbers as we need them for the Catering.(not that I have trouble catering for you all.)

See ya!

I had a crack at the craft show last year everyone , it was a very interesting display of the skills that are out there in the traditional archery world . Dont worry if you think your workmanship is not up to scratch who knows you may surprise yourself and most certainly there will be plenty to inspire . The important thing is to carry on the traditional skills required in archery . regards Perry

Well Trad Archers

Not long now, so dust off your equipment cause the Gathering is just around the corner.

Fully catered canteen, reasonable prices, or just bring your own food and cook on your camp fire.

Weather should be great, but whatever the weather we still have a good time.

See you there.

Any questions, don,t hesitate to email me.

For those who don't already know, at the Gathering, we have a Broadhead range, and it's for 16 years and over. Gold coin to participate.

So if you wish to participate in this range, bring your broadheads.

THEY CANNOT BE USED ANYWHERE ELSE AT THE GATHERING.

THIS IS A CONTROLLED RANGE ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE UNDER STRICT SUPERVISION BY RANGE MARSHALS

I am truly dissapointed that the event is cancelled; mainly for all the HVTA's. I saw how much organisation went into the event last year and know that this year would have been another mammoth effort for no return. We will all be looking forward to October.

Choking, done the drive up from canberra on the flooding roads and past the sydney crazed drivers(traffic backe dup big time). My trophys and framed pictures got wet, yep thats how high the water was across the road in some spots. Im now in newcastle were the water is rising, over half a meter on the street. But heck what can ya do. Hopefully can make it in october.

My wife said it would be cancelled but I just kept saying"nor it will be right" like there would be miricle blue sky just over the shoot, he he.

Ahh what can ya do, good for the farmers and water supply.

My mothers house is under water and my sisters house 1 meter deep in water and rising, lost the lot. I personally only just got out, but the family is safe and for that I thank God. Hope everyone else in newcastle is safe and well.

Having attended last year and seen all the work that went into the organisation, extreme sympathy to HVTA. I must admit to wondering how it was shaping last night with the TV news showing the dramatic effects of the weather round the Newcastle/ Hunter region.
