hey guys,
we went to the last one and it was a hoot - the trad guys gat a good go cause the hytech guys can't draw and shoot the moving targets or the speed round very well.
It really is worth the laugh.

I will be there for sure just to keep Poppy and Steele honest. :D
I am also bringing one of the enemy with me in the form of a compound shooter.I just hope we can try it without the rain this time but Paul has given me his personal garantee of dry weather.
See you all there.

shoot

#11 Post by stickbender » Tue Aug 01, 2006 8:45 am

On behalf of the Gladstone bowhunters I would like to thank all for turning up for the shoot. As it looked like it may of been a wet one but the rain stopped friday lunch time and was dry for the weekend.

We had 100 shooters with

8 open compound
25 barebow compounds
38 recurve
27 longbows
2 selfbows

The top 10 places

705 open compound
655 recurve
645 recurve
625 open compound
620 recurve
620 recurve
620 barebow compound
615 recurve
610 recurve
605 barebow compound

So you can see it was very even with the compounds doing well on the range But the trad gear making up on the speed and running targets.
