Well I ve got to get these in quick before Jeff gets back home or he may edit a few
Scores were well, what scores for Ozbow, anyway had a catch up,a HUGE laugh ALL weekend and put faces to Avatars
No doubt Buford will have a multitude of pics but heres a starter
The pic of Jeff and ET sort of explains why scores won't be mentioned

G'day
I enjoyed the weekend and im sure everyone else did too.
I was suprised too see that Buford didnt break too many arrows, seeing that one is lodged into a crack of a rock and also into a tree.To tell the truth I havent done that much shooting in one day for a while and it really helped me alot correcting my bad habbits(eg:leaning the bow over and droping my bow arm every now and then.

OK........all my crap has been moved from the wagon to the floor of the shed, which i'm quite sure thats where it will stay for far too long.
Before we let the sledging begin, i'll get some niceities out of the way first
It was really great to meet alot of new friends and put faces to names (and names to faces! ) In that spirit, I think it only fair to bestow Jeff with his first Redneck name. I need suggestions people.
My chice is Gran Pappy Rastus. Whadduya reckon?
Nice pics stace, but where's the one of my 'better angle'?

Firstly obviously you and Gran Pappy Rastus drive slow
Do youse mean dis one ?of your better angle (see below)
or dis one
And OL "TOWBALL" who drove with his mate all the way from NEWCASTLE for the event
Buford may have some shots of "Little Arrows","Richard" and" Anna" "Greybeard "
It was a great shoot with the targets surprisingly easy ALTHOUGH I mean surprisingly easy to MISS (remember the COUGAR jeffrey)
Saw Gary shatter an arrow on a tree mid way to the target only to find a foot of shaft and tip in the target
Sat up late or was that early morning yarning which didn't help my scores either
All in all it was great to meet up with ol friends and meet new friends as well
Enjoy

Looks like fun!
G'day all
Wow! Now I am really envious! Looks like all had a great time
One of these times I am going to have to make it across to the east coast to one of these events. Just going to have to convince the one of the airlines to ship across the tackle as well. Love to be able to shoot the Mongolian and Recurves and sit back with a couple (maybe more) beers and chat about trad archery with all of you.
Glad to hear that you all enjoyed yourself over the easter break.
Happy shooting and hope to catch you on the range one time .

You guys got some great pics of the event, I might have some to put up when I get the film developed( still in camera dark ages ). Anna and I have only just got back from the shoot and we only live 45 mins away . Just had to stay a while longer and try and hit that running pig again.
Had a great time and met a load of great people who all made us feel welcome, and it was good putting faces to names. We'll definitely be going to the Gladstone shoot after this weekend

Here's a couple more and that just about does my sample of a great weekend
Richard did a beautiful first shot in the Hawkeye round but unfortunetly couldn't repeat it in the second round
You will just have to practice a bit more for Gladstone mate and look after those beautiful bows
cheers

It was great to meet you and Anna as well and I hope you enjoy settling into your new life Down Under.
You lot may laugh but those little Nanna naps do wonders to revive us Ol' Pappy's ya know. Of course they would be even better without ALL the interruptions.
For you Poppy or for us?and as far as putting faces to names that was scarey
Going by the added photos I think there must have been quite a few taken without us knowing, hey Buford?
Yeah I drove alright and I never drove up the wrong side of a TWO way carriage way thinking it was one way like someone else I know did on the way down.Hi all GRAND PAPPY RUSTUS arrived home ok he drove
Once again it was great to finally meet some of the folks from the site and we will have to do it again sometime. Hopefully we may even have a few others join us as some Ozbow flyers were handed out.

Fantastic weekend guys, thanks to all for making it really memorable, despite killing all those brain cells.....maybe a few less cowboys and liquers next time?.....
Nah, the hangovers were worth it, I haven't laughed so much for a long time
Great to meet so many Ozbowers, and so many traditional archers. Keep the spirit alive!
