Hi Trish,

Can't wait for the shoot this year. I'm going to try and make it this year if it's the last thing I do. Save me a spot, there will be a new addition to the family this year. Not to sure if a three month old can string a Longbow ?

- nah mate, they're not much chop, even when you try to sit 'em up they loll about and the apple falls off their head

:D

Just stay in practice and there'll be plenty of time to teach them later.

Congrats on the new addition, and have fun!

Hi RAAF Mick.

Great to hear from you.

Congrats on the new addition.

We will be Grand parents this year. Due in August.

Never too young to start shooting with the bow.

Look forward to seeing you there.

The new toilet and shower block has begun with the floor being laid on Saturday last.

See you there.

Hi There Trad Archers.

Get ready, it's 8 weeks to the Hunter Valley Traditional Archers "Gathering" 2006.

I have already received some replies to those who are attending this year but I would like to hear from more of you so that we can start preparations, especially the catering side of things.

We finally have a new toilet block built.

Hope to hear from you all soon.

Trish.

Our Gathering has been increasing each year.

Last year we attracted over 160 people with 138 shooters.

This year we are expecting heaps more.

Sorry you can't make it, you don't know what you're missing out on, just ask those who hace attended.

Trish.

P.S Thanks Rob, good job with add.

Hi Trish,

Just wanted to let you know the Sarge has signed off my leave application, so I will be all set to come up for the shoot in June. Short of a war breaking out that is.

Save me a spot for my 10 man tent, time to get out of my little green honcho. All right, no more laying down to get changed. Should have some more room for the Port as well. Must remember to bring the bow too.

See ya all in June

Hey there Gaz

Thanks for letting me know that there will be "NINE" of you,

hope we have room for you all (just kidding) there's alway room,
I knew at the end of last years Gathering that this year was going to be "BIG".
I'm shakin' in my boots trying to cater for you all.

Don't worry, we always have enough food.

Can't wait to see you all.

Hey Buford

Towball will be there, our only trouble with him and food is the BACON.

The Gathering wouldn't be the same without him. :)

There is a change to the shoot program this year.

Instead of the 3D range and the novelties being on 2 days,

Saturday will be 2 x 20 3d targets and the wand shoot.

Sunday will be novelties and top 5 shoot out.

There will be kids novelties on both days.

This is to make things easier with the scoring and having presentation

reasonably earlier than before.

Only a couple of weeks to go.

Trish

Hi Trish
Just thought I would let you know my wife and I will be coming. We have borrowed a camper trailer and I was wondering if it would be possible to arrive on Friday some time as we have a few things to do around the area ?

Regards Graeme

Hi Trish

I've heard alot of good things about the Gathering and looking forward to getting up there for it.

Just a quick question. It looks to me that it is on the Saturday and Sunday. Does it extend to the Monday as well?

Yep Simon, Monday's usually a 'chill' day with some informal rounds and a heap of chin wagging, may be different this year though. Lokk forward to seeing you there :D

Trish,
Sorry for the late notice but just managed to get the time off.
Two more for the fun with wooden gear. I was there last year and have been spreading the word so got another longbow shooter tagging along this time.

Regards
John
