Date Set for "Great Southern Traditional Archery Tourna

Geelong Archery Club in Victoria will be hosting out first trad. tournament over the 3rd and 4th of June and featuring 8 unique/historic events such as

"Castle Clout"
"The Hunt" (very challenging 3D target round, modified scoring)
"A Flight Shoot" (Distance shoot. According to bow weight)
"3D night speed shoot"
"Running boar"
"Hunting the Herd" (distance shoot at herd of 3D deer)
"Mock Pigeon shoot" (flying discs)
"The Kings Round" (Target shoot to simulate a medieval battle)

We are in communication with Traditional Archery Australia and are hoping this event will be a big one for trad archers in Victoria. Thanks to all those who have previously advised us on running such an event. It will hopefully include bowyers and a swap meet.
