national traditional shoot
hey guys , sitting around with a couple of my mates the other day the topic of a once every 2 or 5 year australia national traditional shoot. where clubs from all across our land gather and meet. where and how is a mind blowing task, but at the same time excites the crap out of me. can you imagine 4 or 5 hundred trad archers together for 3 or 4 days, what a blast. what do you think??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Gaz, brilliant idea - maybe we could find out where the majority of trad shooters are and/or take up Staces suggestion and those who want to travel to all can.......funny Steve and I were talking about that on the way home from the shoot on Sunday - maybe we were on the same wave length.

Hi sue , the motorbike club i was in years ago held a meet every 2 years in a different state to make it fair for everybody. We as clubs could fund raise so to send our traditional troops to represent our respective clubs.

national trad shoot
I attended the shoot at Moonan Flats last weekend , where we caught up with the crew from Hunter Valley, they handed out membership forms for the newly formed Traditional Archery Australia. One of their objectives is to organize a national shoot of some kind. so sooner or latter we will all be getting together to have that hoot.

Erron,
The offer was extended by me to the organizers of the TAA to post info on here a couple of weeks ago. It's a shame that about the only time we ever see anyone from the Hunter crew post is when they have their shoot coming up.
Matt, if you want further info on the TAA their address is 30 Groundsel Ave, Macquarie Fields NSW 2564. I do have the personal concant for Nick Lintern who is one of the organizers but I won't post his details without his permission.
