G'day everyone :D

I'm in the process of sending out basic information packs to all members who may wish to attend our High Country hunt. The info pack will only contain enough information to allow you to find our camping site. I will have copies of topographical maps available at the hunt, or alternatively you could have a much more detailed information CD either emailed or posted to you. All you have to do is ask.

I can only send a maximum of 2 PMs at a time before my PM system gets overloaded, because the maps use up lots of memory. Please be patient, you're sure to be on my list of recipicents.

The hunt date is getting closer and closer. 8)

There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

Thanks Mick. looking forward to it! I've updated the quota for pm's to 2 meg, from 1/4 meg, as the default seemed a little stingy, especially in light of your problem. Let me know if this is okay,

Erron

As far as I can tell, there's a fair few Ozbow members coming. I've had assurances from approximately 12 people so far, not including Jindydiver (Mick) and myself. It's definately a goer. In fact its going to be an absolutely fantastic few days. Guaranteed!

As far as dates for everyone turning up is concerned. It doesn't really matter. I will probably turn up late on the Friday before, and head off home late Monday afternoon. You could turn up and go home whenever you liked. Everyone who is coming will probably be there for at least the Saturday and the Sunday, I would imagine.

This hunt is going to be something you don't want to miss. We will be talking about it for months afterwards, I'm sure. Its bound to be anything but an "ordinary show", as the Trash boys would say.

See yaz all there :!:

I travel through Namadgi then past Cabramurra and Sue City. I am over that way once a month for fallow and have tried all the versions and this is the fastest, shortest route for me.

There's some excellent trout fishing in that area. There's about 3 really good trout streams with 40 kms or so. 8) I'm going to take my rod just in case.

You'd come through Renmark then along the Murray Valley Highway all the way there. It might be a bit shorter going through Bordertown and across through Bendigo then up to Wodonga. I don't know. The Murray Valley would be more interesting though.

I'm going to get there on the Friday night just before dark, I'd say. I'll be coming straight after work, leaving home at about 2pm. :D

Not sure how I’ll go about the navigation: either Gundy drives and I navigate & 'mind' the beer, or vice versa. It just doesn’t look good, either way…

I reckon somewhere would wanna get there early...its the last days of the Vic school holidays, and a long weekend for N.S Welshman. I know from experience that it's bloody hard to find a campsite on the holidays even if it is at the end of em..There always taken.
