Well done Steve, that's what this campfire is (partly) for: letting the rest of us know what's happening.

Folks, it doesn't matter if you think it's of little interest to the rest of Australia, tell us about your shoots. It inspires others to do their own, as well as alerting those nearby who may want to attend.

If you know of a hunt or shoot coming up, please speak up! :)

Unless I have got my lions crossed Steve I think it is on the weekend of the 18 - 19 Sep or at least that's what John told me yesterday.

Tully Gang,

I will not be able to attend this year as I will be going down to the Geelong shoot. Only allowed out once a month by my good lady. Just thought! that means I dont get to hunt that month either####. I will enjoy the Vic. shoot.

If anyone is thinking of going! if you can get there do not have any second thoughts of going. The TAA team went up last year and we had a ball. Those blokes up there are the best. I have made some life long mates. Graham, Alan, "Tusker", Blacky, the "pig man", Uncle Les and all the rest. They will all very soon be TAA members, it only took a year for them to see the light!

We all still talk about that shoot and will for many years to come.

A few of the TAA boys from NSW will be travelling up by road this year.

Thanks to the Tully Gang for coming to the HVTA shoot last June. It was ment to be a serious shoot out between QLD (rep. by the Tully Gang) and NSW. It turned out to be just a few mates enjoying shooting arrows, tales arround the camp fires and enjoyment of some amber ale. I think we turned the Tully Boys off that vile XXXX. They were heard to say! "I feel like a Tooheys or two" in their case it was one or two doz. ?

Score sheets were forgotten about by the Tully Gang as the cold set in. At that point we knew we had them! when one of their team wore his wet suit under his shorts, they were gone! Thats right, wet suit on an archery range!

Anyone that is lucky enough to shoot with these guys will have a ball.

I hope to see them all at the Muster Next year if TAA members are allowed to enter?

Have a good shoot,

Uncle Les from Sydney not Uncle Les from Tully, Thats right they also have an Uncle Les.

middle of the week shoot? well that's inventive.
Does anyone have any objections with me lobbying the government to move the school holidays. I leave them free for people with kids, so damn it, we aren't able to go. Maybe next year I'll get in really early with my annual leave - is it held around the same time every year?

The correct date for the shoot is 23rd and 24th September. Confirmed this with the club.

Any further details, you will have to contact them.

Regards,

Les
