Dai Pritchard, slide guitarist for the iconic Australian band Rose Tattoo, presenting HVTA members Scott “Losty” White and Leslie White with a signed t-shirt and two signed drum skins. These are to be auctioned at the Hunter Valley Traditional Charity Shoot to be held on the 5th and 6th of October. The T-Shirt is from Rose Tattoo’s 2019 European Tour. One drum skin is signed by the Rose Tattoo Guys, the other drum skin by The Screaming Jets. All items are fully signed, the drum skins have been used on tour.

Dai is involved with our 2019 Charity “Hunter LoveBites”. Part of this program allows students to have a voice through Music, Art or Drama. Who better than such a great guitarist and really lovely guy to encourage young adults to open up about their thoughts through music. The “LoveBites” Program promotes healthy and respectful relationships in a time when far too many of our young people witness or are caught up in Domestic Violence, Family Violence and Sexual Abuse.

A big thankyou to Rose Tattoo and the Screaming Jets. TFFT (Tatts forever: Forever Tatts).

Hello Everyone in Trad Archery World, yes it is a great cause this year. The Rose Tattoo merchandise will be auctioned one at a time, the first highest bidder gets their choice of item.
We do have some other auctions also. We have talked Uncle Ronnie into making a dozen of his beautifully footed arrows, they have been selected at the most commonly used weight etc.
It has been two years since Jeffo and Erik the Viking (miss you Erik), shaved one half of the Towball beard and one eyebrow . The beard is up for another charity shave this year. It's my pride and joy so quite something parting with it again. Plus it covers my face
Hope to see you all there. This is always a super friendly and relaxed fun shoot.
Don't forget your friendship arrow.
Cheers Towball v

Hello again everyone,
This year at the Charity Shoot we are trying something new in response to input from a few fellow Archers. We will have our usual challenging range for most of you.
In addition to the this range we are setting up a short, easy walk range consisting of fifteen targets. The targets will be placed at a much kinder distance and placement to the challenging range. Two arrows will be allowed for each of these targets. The "Gammy Knee Track " will be designed for beginners, small cubs and those who find moving around the main range a challenge. Our aim is to have everyone participating.
The choice of range is up to the archer.
Looking forward to seeing you all again,
Towball

Not long to wait now  Mrs Towball has started adding goodies to the party bags ready for the cubs' balloon pop, novelties for Saturday afternoon are sorted (thanks Kevin) and the Ranges are looking great.
Gates open Thursday for those wishing to set up camp early. :Sleep
Remember we are a proud traditional only club....... Trad bows and wooden arrows only.
Looking forward to catching up with everyone. Let's hope we can raise a good amount for our charity Love Bites. There are some excellent raffles and auctions so be prepared.
Cheers Towball
