It's a one day Trad shoot with an unusual title.
However if you would like the full explanation -the Sunshine Coast Bowmen has the cane toad in the club emblem - a collection of toads is a knot, as a collection of crows is a murder etc etc - so therefore it is the clubs way of saying a collection of Trad archers with a one day shoot at their club. Being an ANAA club you do not need a card to shoot as All Visitors are very Welcome, you just need to sign the book on your way up the path.
It is on tomorrow, so should you be in the general vicinity please do come along for the 8.45am registration time for 9.00am Muster for a cost of $15 per adult. The address I have noted a couple of posts back and please don't forget to cover your equipment.....
Are you glad you asked? ;)

cheers :)

that's ok Xarcher, should you not retain the info I can always just copy and paste the answer again - that's providing a remember I've answered it already.....
Either way, all 51 archers had a great day, even thought we got rained on for 5 or so targets. I'll post a story and some photos shorly.

There were 51 Trad archers that ventured down to the ANAAs’ Sunshine Coast Bowmen Traditional Knot Shoot being held on Sunday Nov 18. There was quite a lot of debris on the side of the road following the storms that blew through last night, however the sky only had a few clouds as we headed toward Nambour.
Once they had done a muster we headed to out to designated targets, which is easier at this club so everyone starts and finishes at the same time, roughly. There were 2 courses of 20 targets with a combination of 3D’s and vinyl, shooting 2 arrows are each and both scoring. We did one round, and at about target 4 it started to rain and did so for approx. 6 targets, quite heavily at one stage. Most of us endured while a few did leave the course and head home. Once complete we stopped for morning tea, then went out to the other course, starting at the same target numbers, before breaking for lunch. Quite a few of the archers went home at this point while the rest of us did the rolling disks and the new knock-‘em-down targets, where we used the club bows and arrows. Very interesting I must say. The range captain did a sterling job with the target placements, sometimes you even had to shoot through palm leaves that covered the entire score zone. The club always has an enjoyable day and we look forward to them having their Trad days in 2019.
Enjoy the photos.
Cheers sue :)
