Jules Shield Trad Event

#1 Post by nuts1 » Fri May 15, 2015 6:36 pm

Attached is the flyer for the Jules Shield Trad Shoot held by Lakeside Bowmen.
Lakeside club have been running Trad shoots for many years, even the the days of the Longbow Muster they were called String Bow shoots, much like our Trad shoots. for those who have never been, this is a must event to be put onto your Trad Calander.

more than a wee shame, I hope to be helping out at the Archery Stall doing another Bow making demo at the Abbey again this year - what a bugger !

The Jules Trad shoot is one of the original one's it is holding It's 6th annual event . For the people that never have been to ,Lakeside bowmen it has lots of tree's with 2 great ranges the red range has a nice hill and gully to make for good up and down hill shoot. The yellow range has nice creek bed for great target settings. Our floating croc in the small dam is very popular . The club has bought a lot of new 3D targets like the Wildebeest and Gembuck . It has good camping grounds showers and toilets and big club house It is going to be a great Trad shoot.

We had a great time at the Jules shield last weekend. It was only our second Trad shoot, but our 6th away shoot this year. Thanks for making us feel welcome.
Does anyone have final results.
