Hi Kerry, turn up on the day will be fine.kerry wrote:Do I need to nominate for this one ?or just roll up .if not see you there
I have just received the layout of the shirts, I had hoped for a photo of the actual shirt but unfortunately it did not happen. Actual colour should be close to illustration.
A wide variety of sizes will be available over the weekend. Unfortunately, at the moment I can't confirm a price.

Anyone have a direct line to the weather gods? It's looking like we could have pretty persistent rain across the weekend so now is the time to start praying and doing anti rain dances or whatever else you feel may work.
Kate, Josh and I are all planning to attend at this stage but we may whimp out if rain is heavy.
Hope to see every one there if the rain holds off.

Re: 2015 Traditional Rendevious 04/05 April North Albert
Hi all, Tom has set me to think also! Some rain ok but if we have trouble getting in or out of there because of flooding or other, Sue and I may whimp out as well.
What is the news from North Albert club members?

I would expect some wheelie bow shooters to pull out but not hard core, tough as nails trad shooters
Re: 2015 Traditional Rendevious 04/05 April North Albert
Hi Ronster,
tonight's forecast suggests that the weather for Saturday and Sunday "may" be better than originally forecast so I guess we'll just have to keep praying and dancing and see what the next couple of days bring.
Hope to see you there under non-rainy skies.

I 'm not keen on sloshing about either after the hinterland shoot last year where I did 6 arrows in 7 targets in persistent rain, which actually was caused by drag off a sodden finger tab twisting my release. also I'll be hobbling in any case as I managed to drop a 15kg lump of osage straight on my right big toe today resulting in a compound fracture and a cut that 6 hours later won't stop bleeding.

Yeah Steve, I am as tough as an elastic band and shooting in the rain is fine, but not if I cant pull the caravan out of the mud with a low profile sedan or get home or even to or from the range if the roads are flooded.

Re: 2015 Traditional Rendevious 04/05 April North Albert
I just phoned the clubhouse at North Albert and they had some rain at the field course last night - not much today. There was a lot of rain on the other side of the highway apparently, and it stayed on the coast.
We have had 85mm here (top end of the Sunshine Coast today) and the subway has gone under (which doesn't surprise me).
The campground at NAFA drains well, look on the plus side, hammering pegs in will be easy...
I have made up some fletch covers for sale (so your fletches will stay dry )
so only 3 sleeps to go.
see you there.
cheers

looks like I'm a late scratching! Toe won't stop bleeding and doctor advised not to get it wet! Going back there shortly to get new dressings. Damn, been waiting on this shoot all year . Eddie I will pm you about details to get my shirt posted and payment details.

Memory is flooding back, I remember Hinterland last year also. We got absolutely soaked, but had a good time.
So yeah Sue and I will be there.

Re: 2015 Traditional Rendevious 04/05 April North Albert
Yeah Ron I am really crapped off about being out of action. , but I can't take the risk of getting it wet and i wouldn't be able to hobble around the course without causing more damage. Which of course would leave me sitting in camp all weekend and I know where that would lead!!! RBT fodder even 2 days after!!!
