So Craig, if the shoot does happen to fall on a total fire ban day/s, do you think it would be rescheduled or simply cancelled? Hopefully it would be rescheduled for later in the year. We don't have enough trad shoots in Victoria as it is.

I think we're going to have a lot of total fire bans this summer.

Hopefully it will be rescheduled, but would have to run it by our committee.

Yeah, I reckon its going to be a warm summer, with lots of alerts.

Our talented chef (Woody, he cooks up a fantastic roast) added: - A couple of things to mention, the rules on trad bows is no sights, bare bow only and on the Friday night there will be a free sausage sizzle.

This can be a simple as snags and onions in bread....... or bangers and mashed spuds...... or curried sausages and mashed spuds.

Just looking at the 7 day forecast and it shows next weekend as only 19 and 20 degrees with possible showers. So it's looking good right now. Of course, it will probably change as the day draws nearer, but I doubt if either day will be a total fire ban day.

Went for a shot with the blokes yesterday (practice for B/rat) and
I tell you the competition was fierce. Out of the 6 or so of us we
got one bullseye in a row. Stunning! Look out Ballarat.

.... And gumboots too, going by the latest weather forecast. Still, I'd rather that than it being too hot.

Well, it looks as though the weather is now going to be a little better, with rain forecast for Saturday and now Sunday is possible showers. It's still going to be reasonably warm though, but not too hot.

The forecast will continue to change as the weekend approaches, but it's almost certain that it will good arrow flinging weather.

I'll be there Friday arvo.
