Dick Coates Memorial Shoot @ The Grange Bowmen - Sun 19th Oc

#1 Post by seliora » Wed Oct 08, 2014 2:31 pm

Each year we hold a Special Longbow shoot in memory of Dick Coates, this event has continued to grow each year and attracts shooters from several other clubs. It is a great shoot and tons of fun especially for those who never shoot longbow, so grab a stick with a string and come along for an awesome day.

The shoot will include several 3d targets and several novelty events including a speed round, flu flu shoot, rolling discs and several more. Please note this is not a completely trad event however to compete for the memorial trophy you must be shooting a longbow (modern or traditional), any shaft is acceptable (as long as it falls under ABA insurance policy)

It will be a 1 day event so we are starting early, food available onsite. If you wish to camp the night before you must let us know beforehand so we can organize the toilet block to be open.

Muster - 8:00 AM
Cost - Adults $15, cubs/juniors $7. Family of 4+ $40
