coming to you live from NAFA - little hint - if you're coming from Yatala take a hard left at the Sandy Creek Roundabout then turn right into the new entrance of Sandy Creek Road - I missed it and ended up a little further along the road.....

10 camps are now set up and there are only 2 sleeps to go...

cheers

Afternoon All.

Weather is superb, if anything a little warm. Courses are excellent. Archers are enjoying themselves. Numbers seem a little down, ABA Nationals are on at Wide Bay.

A few photos. A bit bigger than in the past - however internet speeds are increasing.

thanks for the photos Grahame.

There are 85 Traditional archers having a great weekend shoot. The courses were brilliant, we also had a couple of new events and the free flowing format worked a treat.
More tomorrow.

Just got home from a great shoot at North Albert, the courses were really good.
Sue and I would have liked to stay for the presentations, but with things running late, time was against us.

Thanks to Shayne and Mark for their great company and to all the great Trad family for a top weekend and friendship.

Great shoot Guy's, see you next year.

A huge Well Done and Thank You to the North Albert club for the implemented changes in the format. Their course layouts with target placement was brilliant. The black bear between 2 burned out trees, the gamble on the lion was very deceptive and brought a few of us (well me anyway) unstuck, while others (yes Christine) blitzed the long shot.
One of the wobbly rolling discs was good for a laugh as it fell over before we got to hit it, the combination 30 second speed/hunt round was also well thought out.
A change in format makes the world of difference and we are now all looking forward to a big 2015 shoot. A great shoot group also makes for wonderful weekend. With all the witasisms we came up with we should right a book, and laughter prevailed all weekend.
Next shoot Barambah in 3 weeks.

cheers

We just got home spent the extra day and did some shooting with the Coffs crew this morning. Very relaxing evening and day. Tracey tested out 2 of Greybeards bows had a hoot. Fiddled with the new camper to iron out a few things and get our pack up routine right, most of all making sure she is ready to go in 3 weeks for Barambah . Thanks to the NAFA crew great improvements with some clever sets. A big thanks to my shooting group like Sue said above a laugh a minute ! Great to catchup with you all again see you soon.

What a great weekend! Congratulations to the organisers and those involved in setting up the event. It was definitely worth travelling 3584 kms round trip for.
