Hey Sue, Im not sure just yet, will let you all know more details on Monday night as we are putting the finishing touches on the format over the weekend. What I will say though is that the range or ranges will be set up as realistic hunting scenarieos or as close to as we can with the bush we've got. So.....the targets may not always be in a clear shooting lane :surprised: if ya know what I mean.

Geneo

Hi Gene-o,
Thank you very much for the offer of assistance.
Sue hit the nail on the head. We have already booked the campervan and should be fairly right.
Should anything comes up we will definately contact you.

Cheers Jo and Gary

Hi everyone,

Just a couple of things.

1. Might be an idea to pack some rubber blunts.
2. Can anyone wanting a Muster shirt, give me a heads up with sizes & quantities?
3. Can we get confirmation the Hawkeye will be coming up for the Muster.

Should have a program uploaded here on Saturday night for all to see.

Thanks for your patience.

Zan

Hi Zan,

The Hawkeye has died a natural death I'm afraid, it was won at Caboolture 2013 and was not taken up by anyone to continue -however the Porkeye seems to have taken off. I'll send you a pm with the "instructions" (and I use that terms loosely) basically, starts close keeps moving out until 1 person left, all must hit in 4" circle only to stay in game, 5 arrows per person (small cost), 1 arrow only from each distance - don't worry about fine details - works out on the day and pot goes on the day. Some of us up there that have a down a few already. A whole lot of fun.
So rubber blunts on Flu Flu's - thanks for that, why am I troubled by the little laughing icon..... what do you devious people have planned I wonder  .

We shall all find out in 87 sleeps I guess....

cheers
sue

OK, so I have booked my holiday for Friday the 6th to drive up to Gladstone for the Muster. Should arrive early afternoon if I'm coming on my own and early evening if I bring either or both of the kids with me.

At this stage one definite for the weekend and for one XL shirt please.

Looking forward to seeing what the Gladstone team have in store for us - it sounds like there will be some "interesting" shots - yipee!!

How long is the drive? We had committed to going to Casino shoot over the June long weekend with our club but could certainly be tempted.

It's about 530 odd kms from Brisvegas to Lake Awoonga, is a pretty good shoot. Lots of fun as always.

you betcha - you have the "Upper" site, where the locals tend to camp near the clubhouse and the "lower" area, for all us visitors..
Full canteen facilities, Saturday night entertainment, usually by someone at the bar..... good food, good company, good shoot, good loos and showers too.

Hey there guys and gals, the ranges are coming along just fine, had a foot or so of rain so a few changes need to be made, should green up the grass abit anyway, the shots will challenge most of you, but will not be out of control  . Like I said before, its a hunting range. Have got a little something planned for the kids just like last time for those that might remember. Have a great weekend everyone.

All one has to watch out for is Wayward Logs at night and Snakes in the Toilets. Other than that its an Excellent Shoot. Cheers Roadie.
