2014 Australian Longbow and Recurve Muster

#1 Post by Gene-o » Tue Feb 18, 2014 10:08 pm

Gday everyone, as some of you may know the Gladstone Bowhunters Club has been in the wars a bit over the last year and a half, we had a flood that washed our main road away and was unable to even get to the club, winds that ripped off doors and our new shade area and had to close down the club for what felt like a life time, BUT we are back, open and arrows are flying again. So with all that said the Australian Longbow and Recurve Muster for 2014 is back on for the June long weekend Saturday 7th, Sunday 8th and Monday 9th. A flyer will be out soon with a full run down of events. This year will be nothing like the past few years... a total make over for a new Muster, what a will say though is that you will need flu flu's and some arrows with rubber blunts as well as plenty of target arrows, some you may never see again... :surprised: thats hunting for you.

Hope to see you all there for a great weekend of archery and mateship.

Geneo.

Hey Dan how are you mate? Yes we did have our AGM late last year and we have voted in a great bunch of people into the core committee. Our new president is a guy named Tony Williams who was involved with the club way back when, ive known Tony almost all my life, he's a recurve shooter and a top bloke.

Hi there Ron hows things mate, hope to catch up with you and Sue soon.

Hey big Rod been a bloody long time since we shot a few hey, will have to change that one.

Shoot straight guys and gals, Geneo

Just a quick note to let everyone know the Nomination form is available on the Gladstone Bowhunters website - http://www.gladstonebowhunters.com

We are still putting the final touches on the format. As soon as this is done, a flyer will be posted.

Hi Gene,

Over here in WA we heard that this was such a great shoot we thought we might come over and give it a go. So we booked our flights last night and now we will definitely be there.
We are looking forward to meeting new people and catching up with some that we have already met.

Cheers Jo and Gary

Hi Gene-o

The travellers from afar will be probably hiring a campervan and trundling from Brisvegas on a mini holiday.
I think they secretly like it on the East Coast....
