Best shooting weather you could ask for, challenging novelty shots, tricky 3d shootn, top weekend, thanks Bendigo Field Shooters, cant wait to come back.

Just wanted to say thanks to eavery one that made the shoot it was great to hear so much positive feed back.
If there is any thing you think we can improve on next year send me a PM hope. fully I can get the scores up hear soon and some pics but I only have a couple so if you have them please post away

On the Saturday we shot novelties with the Ariel targets in the morn and the rest. In the arvo they consisted of.

1b flying target
one soft toy is thrown strait up from behind the buts at a time and the shooter is to shoot it whilst still in the air the shooter has 3 attempts with each scoring shot is worth 25 points
Bounce out shots count if they are witnessed

2b popen jay
Shoot the bottles from the red peg each bottle hit is worth 20 points 3 shots per shooter

3b drop bear
Shoot the bear in the tree 3shots each body and head shots are worth 20pts and arm and leg shots are 10pts

4b sling shot trap
launch the foam ball from the sling shot with each ball hit worth 100pts balls may be shot once on the ground as long as they are still moving 3 attempts per shooter the shooter is 2 shoot from the red peg



1r ping pong vac
Shoot the ping pong ball from your peg each ball hit is worth 100pts once the ball is nocked from the air stream the from a hit the shooter takes the score
3 shots per shooter

2r spinning playing cards
hit the playing card with a hit on the picture side worth 25pts and a hit on the plain side worth -25pts
3 shots per shooter

3r steel trees
Shoot the kill zone of the target for the score of the target but take care not to hit the trees
3 shots per shooter with the first scoring shot counting Aba scoring


4r snap shot
take one shot from the red brick and
One shot from the green brick at the playing card on reaching the yellow brick drop the golf ball down the pipe and shoot at the card before it is pulled from the butt once the card is hit no more shots need to be had with a hit on the card worth 100 points

5r horse back
Sit on the 44 gal drum and pick a target and shoot 3 arrows at it for the combined score if you do not shoot from the drum shoot from the red brick for 2/3 the points


6r rat inn the down pipe
shoot the tennis ball as it leaves the pipe
3 shots per shooter 30pts per ball hit

7r tree stand
shoot one arrow at each target from the tree stand with jnr to shoot 1 at the close target and 2 at the mid range target and cubs to shoot 3 shots at the closest if you do not wish to shoot from the tree stand shoot from the red brick for 2/3 the score all arrows count

8r seated shot
shoot 3 shots from the seat for the score of the first scoring arrow and the more shots u take the less points u get Aba scoring

9r steel pig
Shoot 3 arrows at the pig from the brick of your choice for the score of that brick not all shots need to be taken from the same brick
Red 100pts
Green 50pts
Yellow 20pts

10r reverse score
Shoot at the target the outer rings are worth the most points and the bulls eye is worth the least
3 shots per shooter

11r darchery
Shoot 3 shots at the dart board and record the score doubles and triples count

12r pin the tail on the deer
You have 3 shot at pining the tail on the deer with more points for the closer you are to the tail with the first arrow to hit scoreing and less points the more arrows u use Aba scoring

13r wand shoot
Take 3 shots at the wand all hits count
Red 100pts
Yellow 50pts

14r V shoot
Take 3shot at the v the closer to the bottom of the v the higher the score all hits count inside the v out side is a score of 0

16r lying shot
Lye down on the mattes and take 3 shots at the target for the total score

18r speed shoot
Shoot 3 arrows at the target in 25 sec before the timer goes off all scores count

20r apple shoot
u have 1 shot to shoot the apple off the head of the fox with hitting the apple worth 50 points and hitting the fox worth -50

And on Sunday wee shot 2 rounds of in backed 3ds

Looks like a Great time & shoot was had by All. Once again sorry I couldn't support your Trad shoot this year. In Nanango for there shoot over the Mother's Day weekend, then we head home. Cheers Roadie.
