Hi Roadie,

Being chauffeured by the Hornmaster, not sure if we are arriving Thursday or Friday afternoon.

In the meantime I'll do a quick trip to the U.K. to make a genuine ELB and be back in time for the shoot.

Hmmmm......... Alright Daryl, Grant and the rest. Going back a few posts, just what is a genuine ELB?  Now do you need special/appropriate arrows?

Ay Folks, For me anything that looks like what they found on the MARY ROSE, will do for me, minus a few Pounds, my Days of shooting the WAR Bow (!00 lbs plus) is over, it makes a great walking stick now. Happy to shoot my 50Lbs ELB, Australian made by Norseman Bows, can't get much better than that. Daryl be great if you and the Hornmaster can make it for Thursday, I plan to be there late Wednesday, have a couple of Great MALTS to share. Cheers Roadie.

Hey Daryl, should you whip yourself up a set of English Arrows to go with your English Longbow whilst in the UK - you have a couple of weeks.....
Ok "The Hunt" spot will be saved - just yell when you arrive, I'm sure we'll all hear you....
Grahame, put that spoon down......

cheers

Hi Sue,
Further to our discussion on arrows to be used at Wisemans; do we have to use the same arrows for the clout section of the shoot as we do the rest of the targets other than popinjay of course?
Ok and another "rules" question are there any issues with shooting 3 under as against split fingers i know from my queries to both ABA and 3DAAA neither has a problem.

Cheers
Ian

what a strange question Ian - yes - all timbers or all carbons, all the way round. Except the popinjay if you don't have your own flu-flu's with blunts.

Hi yes the catering was fabulous last year; hope its on again this year; sure saves a lot of mucking around with food storage; trying to keep things cold etc cooking fires and stoves.
A very greatful thankyou to all the helpers in the kitchen and on the BBQ.

Ay Ian, All reasonably good this end, still can't straighten the leg 100 %, can only bend the knee about 95 %, at this stage have quite a pronounced limp, But hell I can drive and mobile sort off. So see you at Wisemans, hopefully be there on Wednesday afternoon. Cheers Roadie.

Bob good one but the SES chopper will be for the poor snake that is poisoned by or knacked by keeping up with Roadie.

Mate had a chat with Roadie yesterday seems like he is coming along just fine now after some issues were sorted earlier and mate we don't need my suggested crane or the SES chopper (good idea though) all we need is Nick Lintern playing the role of mountain goat and pack mule; hmmmm pack goat theres a thought!!
Cheers guys and good hearing from you Grant.
Cheers
