Just wanted to say thanks to Rob, Di, John Mac, Nerdle, Les et al for the Wiseman's Get Together.

Personally, I shot like a tosser (apart from a PB on the running pig) but had a great time anyway. My girlfriend Cecilia shot some PB's and loved every minute of it. As did my mate James.

A weekend's entertainment of the highest order.

Just arrived home safely to Mexico. Thanks to all involved, all who attended and for the great companionship and conversation. As a leatherworker my award to the best leatherwork and outfit has to go to Andy and Cecila for a backquiver and armguard done in a black gothic/S&M theme just brill.
Cheers

Home safely to the Gold Coast after a great weekend at Wisemans FerryTrad shoot, big trip but well worth it.A big thanks to Rob &Di for hosting and all the organizers and helpers. I would also like to thank my shoot group Sue, Steve, Tracey, Dave can't help but shoot well with this crew, lots of laughs and great company. A big thanks also to John Mc Donald for helping us set up our godson with his first bow, that will be a reward after he attends 3 club sessions. Great to catch up with friends and meet some new archers as well, we will be back!

Tremendous outing a massive credit to all who organised. Roadie would you be kind enough to post detail on that very acceptable Red you put up to blood the new drinking horn. I forgot to script details.

Thanks Rob and Di for another great shoot. Both my young fella and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. It was good to catch up with mates and have a shoot. It was a pity I could only stay for the one day but hopefully next year I will be able to stay both.

See you all next year,
Ranger

One of the best trad comps I've been to yet and certainly a beautiful setting. Well worth the drive from Gold Coast. Great company and good times! I can see an annual holiday building from this trip.
Great work to all involved in organizing and to all who showed up!

finally got home at 4.30am this morning after torrential downpour at the beginning of Cunninghams Gap rendered driving impossible. So had to squat there until all the storms passed before continuing - all home safe and sound. Just making a little less sense than usual.

Here are scores for the weekend.

cheers

Well what a great weekend of trad archery with some very challenging shooting ... especially the Challenge!
I didn't shoot very well - steep up and down shots and no practice since last year... well they're my excuses anyway.
Thanks to Rob, Di, Nergle and all the others who helped organise, set up and run this event.

It was great to meet some fellow OzBowers for the first time - g'day to the Lillydale crew.

Left Sunday afternoon after the presentations and slept the night in Taree then home on Monday with some fishing along the way to provide the needed rest breaks - no great catches unfortunately. Definitely planning to attend again next year.

See all the Queenslanders at North Albert over the Easter Weekend.

Hey I see a trend happening here, perhaps we could leave on Sunday arvo and continue chatting at the overnight stop in Taree - now that sounds like a plan.
Seems we've brought the rain home with us - it started early Tuesday morning and hasn't stopped since, now where did I put my gum boots?

That is a good idea, a nice stop over, you can have a fire, there is a toilet and at night it is oh so quiet

Yeah Bob, it certainly was different terrain to what we are used to shooting that's for sure but we loved it! Looking forward to North Albert now
