Be there around noon Friday or a little after. Hoping I'll be able to shoot Shrek, as I may not be able to put a shoe on one foot.

Just got back from the shoot. Thanks Grahame for the photos. Shrek did his club proud, along with a small band of assistants. Terrific food at very reasonable prices, challenging ranges, great novelty events. I will post some photos soon of one, the 'bargearse' horse. Must have taken a power of work to complete. Those who couldn't make it , whack in your calendar for next year as it is a must.

Here we go, Shrek's unreal ' barge ****' horse which was rocked back and forth as the archer held a crop in the bow hand, and attempted to hit various targets.I bvelieve it was won by our own Steve Wallace.
Winner of the ladies long bow, Hinterland's and Ozbow's own 'the Hunt'

what a hoot - yes the "galloping" speed shoot was extremely entertaining. I've never been on a horse and then when it started moving I couldn't stop laughing, which didn't go too well when you're trying to shoot.
The courses were challenging, and the ladies night shoot, which was taken out by Peregrine, was great fun, and makes for very sticky arrows....
Big thank you to Shrekka, Hunt, Peregrine and the Hinterland Club for a great event.
I should have some more photos from the "club" photographer shortly.

cheers
