Shooters get to 50m to shoot, but only a hunter gets inside 20m to hunt.

Hey Nutgrass I will only do the countdown if Rod promises to count when it gets down to 20 - OK..... 'cause my poor little fingers will be at least half an inch shorter by then...

There is only 1 year 1 month and 17 days to go....... which equals 412 sleeps -

I guess for a relative newcomer Ian that is a good question.

It is held over the June Long weekend in Gladstone, Qld - about 7-8hrs north of Brisbane. The 2014 shoot will be the 15th Anniversary, as it was not able to be held this year due to extensive flooding very early in 2013 which washed a lot of the course, targets and road away.

Hi Sue,

I checked out the price of airfares for this one its looking pretty good. Have to wait until after Christmas to make a firm decision though.

Air Fares, where does one land if one is on a Commercial Flight, and who would be available to pick up this Ole dinosaur if I was to come and be prepared to put him up for the shoot.. Had a Blast last time. Cheers Roadie.

Some from New Zealand, would fly into Brisbane, then get the small domestic plane to Gladstone Airport, where someone would pick them up, other from NZ would grab a camper from Brisbane and do the tourist thing on the way up over a few days.

The other option is see if someone is going from Brisbane ( I guess here would be the best place to ask), and perhaps organising pickup and co-driving from there.

Hopefully they will put a flyer up soon too, or perhaps we'll just wing it...

cheers
sue

No Rod, not yet! too many numbers for you... - soon - promise

I live only an hour and a half from Gladstone, just south of Rockhampton. I would love to turn up and do some shooting the breeze and arrows, do I need to join a club or can I just turn up and register on the day for shoots like this muster ?

Andrew

If you wanted to attend this shoot you can. You don't have to be a member of any club or association. There should be a flyer about the shoot placed up here in the not too distant future so keep an eye out.

If you wanted to attend the Gladstone club for ordinary shoots before hand PM Nutgrass as he is the president of the club and can give you all the details.

Regards

Jeff
