Question though, what do you reckon constitutes a full hamburger? With or without Pineapple and beetroot?

Pineapple? Look, if you blokes want these exotic ingredients you need to get off your bums and build your own burger shop. No good moaning to us normal folk about lack of pineapple & expecting us to accomodate you, if you really think it's needed then build it and they will come! Until then you're just whingers! :wink: :razz: :lol:

Who am i to squabble whether I should wash it down with a cold beer followed by the malt and cider later. They tell me you shouldn't mix your drinks.... Traditionally.

Hey I just did a check. There are heaps of Hamburger places selling Hamburgers with Pineapple - and some even have Pickles. Crikey, it seems every shop wants to sell me a Hamburger with Pineapple - except on special Pineapple Free days

So I don't need to open my own Hamburger shop I just need to go to one of the places selling Hamburgers with Pineapple. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Before I select the hamburger option I think the poll is utterly r@#ted. You are allowed one option only. It is like some richard cranium from the Rupert Murdoch polls of Newspoll and Galaxy phoning up and asking whether you would vote for Julia Gillard because she kicks kelpies.....

What is trad? I don't know, don't care either for tournament shooting as stalking a target is as boring as bat$hit: BUT! You are welcome to your opinion but unless you don't use natural materials I am likely to:

(a) politely disagree with you;
(b) impolitely disagree with you;
(c) suggest you stop being a word that ends in 'wit'; or
(d) snort with derision and ask a question about hamburgers (in which case see option {c})

Good night 8)
Are you well informed or is your news limited?

Hi Everyone,

I've read all the posts to date with interest and felt it was time to add my two bob's worth to the conversation albeit based on my quite limited experience.

I started archery a few years ago to spend some time outdoors with my kids and make some new friends following my divorce. I've been a member at Caboolture and Lakeside in Brissie (both great clubs) and started out with a compound and carbon arrows...I know, it's terrible but I didn't know any better then. Attended lots of shoots at club, interclub and nationals level but for me (and only me) I found I am not keen on the level and seriousness of competition and it sure as hell didn't suit me to drive somewhere for a weekend shoot to spend time with my kids only to have them put into shoot groups with strangers so I didn't see them all day. I understand why it is done but if the whole event is taken less seriously then you don't need to worry about parents fudging their kid's scores just to win a trophy do you?

And so we discovered trad archery... where sometimes we don't even keep score but we have a great time together, we meet lots of friendly people and learn from masters at their craft - be it bow building, fletching, tuning a bow, shooting a bow, making leather goods, throwing knives, camp cooking etc etc etc. We enjoy great meals and relaxed camping and great discussions all in a natural setting - heaven! And we meet an amazing variey of people of all ages and with different life experiences and points of view.

So, for me (and only me) I don't care what others shoot as long as they abide by the spirit of trad archery. We can manage the differences by putting like equipped shooters together into one class. Hopefully those who have a go with whatever bow will be captivated by the magic of it all and end up with a hand made self bow or some other trad bow (whatever that really is) shooting arrows they made thenselves and having a great time with the rest of us.

You should know by now it has to have an acredited complience certificate and declaration in triplicate before it can be classified as natural Material:shock: :shock: :shock: :roll: :roll: :roll: :lol: :lol: :lol:
