It's Misery hour at my place Grant we didn't get there, a few ute issues set me back a day or two and of course burnt a hole in the budget, so Jura single malt it is

Hey Bentstick that's not good. We shall have a drink for you.

The camp ground is rather full. The bat shoot has been run and won and that was a lot of fun - especially me shooting someone elses longbow!

Only 1 sleep to go.......................woooohoooo and also Stickbow Hunter is here too, which is great to see.

cheers

Hi All, well its all over now and the Barambah team have put on a great event . Thanks guys!, had a great time and caught up with some great people and exchanged some colourful stories. Also thanks to the guy's I shot with, you definately added to the weekend.
There were some different targets put out, that I think were a great hit. The rotating target with unkown score zones really did work well.

Thanks for a great shoot.

Have to endorse all ronster has said and big thanks to the harassed few Barambah members who managed to overcome a crippling work load and selflessly give of themselves to enable another great shoot to run so well.Credit to all., and those who couldnt make it, well as you would well know, you missed another terrific shoot.

Yes indeed, it was a really good shoot - rolling discs or balls, a tree on the clout range has a few momentums wwaaayyy up the top, the rotate cube, yes that was definitely different, and a whole lot fun - 2 speed rounds, heaps of interesting shots on the field course, the running pig on whirly wheels and many more.
A huge big thank you to the Barambah crew for your hard work.
It was fantastic to see so many new people and all of us having such a great time, and thanks to our group for the good company.
cheers

ps - and the porkeye was fun too.....

Another great Trad Shoot over - what a great weekend.

Thanks to all the team at Barambah Bowhunters for setting great courses with really interesting novelty events with a fabulous canteen and food. It certainly looked like a really big crowd and everyone I spoke to had a great weekend.

thanks for the photos Daryl they captured the events well.
The mystery score cube was to be shot at with 5 arrows as it was spinning, no score was visible from where the archer stood. when you went to score, written on the top of the cube were the numbers 10, 5, 5, and 0 (there was wire dividing the "zones") - so if you had very successfully placed all your arrows in the side that said 0, that's exactly what you scored. Talk about luck of the draw.
We had blunts on the flu flu arrows, and if your arrow made it through the hole you scored, if not, then have another go.

I believe the scores shouldn't be too far away.

cheers

Good shoot, always fun. I Would much rather have shot the field coarse again on Sunday then shoot all those novelties again though.
Novelties are just that, novelties. Anyway, was fun & will no doubt see you next year.

Shooters get to 50m to shoot, but only a hunter gets inside 20m to hunt.
