My Eyes - My Eyes!!!! Oh the horror..... :surprised: :surprised: :surprised:
The best trophies I can hope to acquire as a husband, father, friend or hunter are MEMORIES!
They will travel with me wherever life's path leads...

Thanks Mark for all the work that went into the week end. Lewis and I had a great week-end and are ready to do it all again.
Bit hard to call it a Gringa week-end when there was only 2 Gringa owners there, but we all had a great time.

To busy working lads.
Pretty sure it would be hard to class it as a gringa shoot anyway mate. More non-GRINGA's invited than GRINGA's to start with
Glad you all had a good time, anymore pics :?: would be good to see what I missed  I wanna see the pile of broken arrows  I was promised it was going to be big
I am going to make it to one of your shoots eventually Scrub bull

Well its all over and I had fun.
Gringa weekend in name only as most of the Gringa shooters pulled out in the last few days.

Here is an idea of the games played on the weekend.
25 target 3d range with 4 moving targets, Did anyone get the cat coming down the tree?
Speed round with all targets moving. oh dam what to shoot at first.
Wand shoot.
V shoot with the V on its side.
V shoot with a 8# kids bow and your own arrows. (Strong Bow bring lighter arrows next time)
V shoot shooting a left hand bow if you where a right hand shooter.
Shoot the ball rolled down the pipe
Shoot the knight on the castle.
Burn the castle down with fire arrows.

The rules for the weekend.
Have FUN, no scoring, shoot any bow and arrow you like (no wheels), have FUN.

I was given a few more photos today, so here they are.
I have already started to plan the next shoot and there will be more flaming arrows.

Gee, I'm late here aren't I??

Mark, congrats on a great shoot - you really did put in a lot of effort and we all enjoyed the course, the "special" events and your hospitality, so thank you very much.

Some of the more unusual elements like the castle and the fire arrows, the "dancing" tennis balls, shooting with the kids bow and our own arrows and unusual moving targets really were a treat.

And No, I didn't get that scalded cat running down the tree... unfortunately.

And thanks to Darell for the photos - it was even more fun than it looked!!
