Lakeside Trad Shoot

#1 Post by toby » Thu Jul 12, 2012 8:53 pm

There is a Trad Shoot on the 21st & 22nd of July at Lakeside Bowmen but I have seen no mention of it on here is it not popular or not promoted?

Not promoted I expect, someone needs to put it up as soon as the dates and format are decided by the hosting club

yes it is, isn't it. Always been that time, and I don't think they have any intention of changing it to a 2 day shoot either.....

Folks the Lakeside Shoot was great, nice people, good cheap Tucker and lots of moving Targets, especially liked the Target with a Pig that Ran from Left to Right, then triggered a 2nd smaller Pig that ran straight down the Hill towards the Shooters. Lots of Arrows, did I say lots of Arrows flung over a nice field coarse, a little close for my liking but I'm strange, like to shoot at longer Targets. Not a critic at all, had a blast

Thanks to lakeside for a great shoot we all had a ball we are looking forward to the next one, reminds me of the stringbow shoots and mini musters you held in the past, I believe it`s well worth adding to the trad calender.
Please post earlier next year.
